Surrounded by traffic, shops and noise, this Buddhist temple has this quiet, serene atmosphere. I enjoyed walking around and seeing the local Chinese people worshipping. They have some nice statues, especially the Thousand-handed Avalokitesvara.

For me, this was my favourite temple in Kaifeng. And apparently, one of the less visited! I you are lucky, you can also enjoy a vegetarian meal at the canteen.
