I visited here as my wife can trace her lineage directly back 28 generations to the founder of this school. Nice historical site to see, loaded with Hunan University students on the day I went, not a good place for small children.

This 1000 year old academy is a must if you happen to be in Changsha. Lovely old buildings, something you dont see much of this city. Nice walking around in the garden. The museum itself was around 100 RMB and worth the money.

I did not see anything offering classes, this seemed to be more of a museum than a school now. But maybe the hunan university offers classes?
