It is perhaps the most photogenic area of the entire, huge, Zhangjiajie National Park.
The views are absolutely amazing and the stone peaks and columns look out of this world. A place not to be missed.

Great experience and good view of the nature with mountain and forest around. It would take some good walking around and around two hours with calm and relax. Great nature and wonder.

Nature at it's best. The time it take for the transformation to happen. You really would have thought you had gone to Pandora

We were very expectant when going there, and we were not disappointed - it was a beautiful, breathtaking experience and once up there we forgot everything about having waited in several queues for hours. It was easy to get around on the many path's allowing us to enjoy the fantastic scenery from different angles. If possible, try to avoid the Chinese holiday season going there.

A wonderful landscape, of course made much better if you are lucky enough to see it when clouds float low. In such case, it will actually seem like you were in some kind of alien world, and the scenery is just too magic to be overseen.

The Stone Forest is situated at Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve, a popular attraction in Tianzi Mountain, when we were in the cable car all the rock pillars and peaks tall and short, big and small appeared in front of us, when we reached Helong Park there were more beautiful rock formations, some of them grow with healthy pine trees, how can they grow in such condition not much soil and space, that made me wonder? Bring your camera with extra battery to capture this natural wonder.

You must not be afraid of heights, watch your steps and people hitting into you as the railings are not very high and just imagine the avatar movie filmed here - the flying creatures etc. Some say the rocks are cut like potato chips!

The rock formations were very dramatic and colorful, situated in an enormous canyon as part of the Wulinyuan Park areas. Some of these impressive rock columns were also featured in the movie "Avatar" created by James Cameron. Many other incredible rock formations and groups of dramatic rock columns are to be found in this fantastic China National Park. The extensive system of park trails offers many outstanding views of similar rock formations and mountain spectacles.
