Impressive landscape that has inspired the one of the movie Avatar. It is an unique group of mountains that you can't see elsewhere. Watch out the time to travel here to avoid the high season for Chinese Tourists where the queues can reach over 2h for buses and cable cars. April, May is fine.

Stunning views but avoid when it is too cloudy or raining persistently. Do be properly attired though. Wet and cold weather protection is definitely a must if its during the rainy season. Avoid peak periods at all cost.

If the fog or clouds are in then these incredible formations really do look like they are floating and it is a sight to see. Bring a few extra batteries for your camera, you will need them!

On my first visit I simply had not seen it: the fog was so thick there was no chance to climb. But on the second visit I was lucky.

Again as always go early. This does seem more popular as there is a macdonalds!!! Close by and multiple shops more than the rest of the park. It is the colder part of the park due to the altitude so do take a rainproof jacket and warmer clothes. We took the stairs down which do take a few hours walk... More

Take the elevator to the top and you Will see a great view. The elevator Costa About 80rmb, bit of a ripoff, since you pay a lot to get in the parc jet.

Get the Bailong elevator to the top. Beautiful views. Take snacks and water. Umbrella. Lots of great photo opportunities. Short review but everything is covered in previous reviews.

The unique mountain formation is something that impress everyone visiting. Even after 3 days visiting them, you still look at them with awe. If you travel in the summer, it will be very hot and since it is a national part, you must take plenty of water & shade with you. There are plenty of places to buy snacks, drinks... More

The area features very unusual groups of dramatic, towering rock columns highlighted with trees and other vegetations. Although the columns have similarities with Monument Valley or Bryce Canyon, the forms are unique in that they tend to be more angular in shapes.

Very pleasant visit, the locals are all well behaved and polite. The monkeys are not well behaved, don't touch. I did this solo and I had a great time. One on one with my guide gave me insights into PRC.
