Like being on the MOON!

The rocks around this beach are amazingly white. Fun beach and great for kids. about a 1/4 mile hike into the beach.

Beautiful white volcanic rock formations formed by the waves and the wind. Can't really call it a beach, but there is one area you can go into the water from. Some people also cliff jump at certain areas. However, it's not to be missed. Beautiful landscape to explore. You can explore more areas if you have sneakers as opposed to... More

Not to be missed. Also the former mining tunnels next to it and the jumping into the water from the nearby rock. Wonderful experience.

One of the most beautiful beaches of Milos. The scenic landscape is unique! There are no loungers or umbrellas. Only the white rocks and the incredible sea!

I visited Sarakiniko Beach in September 2016 by taking a bus from Adamas and taxi on a way back as the last bus leaves about 5 pm. Sarakiniko is one of my favorite places in Milos and the white formations are spectacular to visit. They are also easy to climb and there is a way to cross to the other... More

This is for sure a different type of beach and totally worth the visit. The scenery is great! You could also find a sand beach in the middle but it's rather crowdy. When we visited the wind was blowing powerfully and we couldn't swim too far due to the strong waves. I don't know how things work when the sea... More

Saraniko was one of the images that drew us to visiting Milos. I found the lunar landscape mesmerising, the chalky rock fascinating and it made for the most amazing photos. Very windy the day we were there although plenty of people sunning themselves and having a swim. Spent about an hour wandering around. Walked through the caves at that back... More

Sarakiniko Beach is absolutely beautiful and is accessible by bus but it is better to pre- organise your own transport. The white cliffs are stunning and jumping off the rocks was great fun and very safe. The water was perfect. There are vendor vans there if you need drinking water, or snacks. Views along the northern coastline of Milos are... More
