This wonderful garden was landscaped in a setting of great beauty on top of a cliff with breath-taking views over the sea, and it is a fine specimen of the spirit that animated the Noucentista movement in Catalonia - an early twentieth-century movement for intellectual and aesthetic renewal that found a distinguished spokesman in the writer Eugeni d'Ors. The Santa Clotilde gardens were designed in the manner of the dainty yet austere gardens of the Italian Renaissance by Nicolau Rubió i Tuduri at the age of twenty-eight, when he was still brimming over with admiration for his master in the art of landscape gardening, Forestier.

We were installed on the beach of Fenals up the end at Punta Garbi and felt like a break from sun and sea and noticed the signpost indicating the Jardin de Santa Clotilde and decided to follow the path up through the pines off the...More

We originally paid to €5 each to get in only to find that as I was wearing sandals it was going to be impossible to walk around because the paths were gravel and it kept getting into my footwear. We left very disappointed. However, the...More

smallish garden costing 5 euro for entrance. Some nice trees an views of coast. Nothing really fantastic but just ok. Mostly trees, steps and statues. Would not really recommend.

A hidden gem, in the Lloret area. Quiet, peaceful, beautiful gardens, coastal views. A different side to Lloret De Mar.

Cheap to get in and very pretty, definitely worth a look around. Lots of steps through the various parts of the gardens but still plenty to see if you can't manage the steps.

We interrupted our beach program with this visit and it was worth it totally. The garden is really nice, the view is spectacular, you can take great photos for sure.

I'll start with the good: beautifully maintained gardens, there is a lot of work done on this place, beautiful view of Santa Christina beach( which is a must do, best beach in this area). €5 entry fee for adults, kids go for €2.5, which is...More

We stayed in royal beach hotel in lloret De Mar. We walked along the beachside then through a bit of forestry, it took about 20 mins to walk there and there were a few hills. Depending on what direction you are coming... More

Parts are, however there are lots of steps and as the gardens are terraced it may be difficult to get around it all and you would miss a great deal.
