Wonderful National Park. Must see/do for all Canadians
Sep. 2020
This is a wonderful National Park. Lots of beautiful scenery, great hiking trails, friendly staff. Campground (Petit-Gaspe D) was great. Campsites are relatively private, not cramped together, well maintained. The comfort station building with washrooms, showers, dishwashing facilities, and a wood-fire heated interior gathering was absolutely great. This type of facility is needed at all National and Provincial parks.

Highly recommended!

So beautiful
Sep. 2020 • Couples
We were only here a few days but every trail we hiked was wonderful.
Les graves and Mont-Saint-Alban are a must! We almost didn’t stop by the Taiga trail and I was really glad we did. That was my favourite.so enchanting. Bird watching paradise!

Beautiful almost untouched nature
Sep. 2020
Very vast area for different tastes. Walking, trekking, camping, cycling even swimming.
A walk to the "Bout du Monde" is a must. The trail is around 4 km each way, uphill and downhill.

Great National Park
Sep. 2020
Although on the whole, the hiking trails don’t match up with those of the Gaspésie National Park, the view atop the Mont-Saint-Alban trail might be the best of all Gaspésie trails. Cap-Bon-Ami also provides an epic viewpoint that provides access (via several levels of stairs) to the beach. This is also a perfect spot to appreciate the local population of Double-Crested Cormorant.

Great views

During our trip to Gaspé, we had to visit the park. The cashier was very kind to explain us how to do the visit by car and it was amazing at sunset.

Stunning views
Aug. 2020
Hiked the Mont-Saint-Alban trail starting from the south area (petit-gaspé beach) to the observation tower and down to the beginning of the north trailhead at Cap-Bon-Ami. The ascent to the tower is gentler from the south trailhead.
At cap-bon-ami, we saw grey seals curiously poking their heads out not far from shore! Great for a mid day swim and picnic.

Cap Gaspé trail (from l’anse aux amérindiens) is at a gentle incline along the Gaspé Bay with a steep climb at the end. Brings you to the Land’s End look out and lighthouse.

There is a lighter downward path through the Boreal forest for both trails.

Spectacular views and reminders of a humbling history along the trails to reflect on.

The opening hours can be difficult to find. The park is open on weekends and past 4 pm. The times listed on trip advisor are for the info offices.

Many hiking paths, different levels, well marked. Lots of parking available. Historical signs are fun and educational.

Unique and amazing
Jul. 2020
We were there for our first trip in Gaspesie and Parc Forillon was a really big nice surprise for us. We were amazed by the landscape around, and the lighthouse in the entrance of the park.
Gaspesie is unique, and this is why.
it is a must see in life.

Great hike with superb views but not for the faint of heart if you leave from the Cap Bon-Ami side. Extremely steep and rocky trail. For an easier climb, start from Grand-Grave. Approximately 3.5 hours to do the whole circuit.

Beautiful park
Aug. 2020
We did two hikes in the Forillon National Park. The first one to land's end (from the last parking lot, it was almost 9kms). The nature is beautiful there in August. There were flowers everywhere. Arrived at the tip of the peninsula, there were quite a lot of birds and two groups of seals in the ocean. There are a lot of other hikes to do in the park. We had another short one to sea the Ste Anne's waterfall (30 mins). Nothing stunning, but pretty. If you plan to eat there, there are plenty of spots that you can choose with a nice view. However, be aware that you won't find a single bin in the park. Also, there are just a couple of toilets - which were so disgusting that many people were peeing in the wild. They should either limit the number of visitors or add decent toilets, in my opinion.
