Feel privileged to have visited where the great man was born, the cottage is quite small but packed full of incredible items to read, explore & examine. Plenty of old pictures, bats, balls etc & interesting stories ensure that you leave satisfied with the experience. The legend of 'The Don' began here, he's an Aussie icon so yes I highly... More

This is a great spot for cricket lovers and those who love history. Manned by volunteers it contains a wealth of authentic memorabilia about the great man and his times. Pictures, letters, posters, clothing and a fabulous video are all included for the basic price of $3. Not to be missed as well as the Captain's Walk just a couple... More

A lot of people think Bradman was born at Bowral NSW. He was in fact born at 89 Adams Street Cootamundra NSW and his family moved to Bowral when he was a baby. Grew up and played his1st cricket at Bowral. The home he was borne in is still there and is now the Bradman Museum. It is full of... More

This is a little but very informative museum. It was inexpensive and very accessible. I will not go their again, as once seen, their is no need to go again.

This museum is a gem in Cootamundra - the birthplace of Sir Donald Bradman, "The Don". It is full of cricket memorabilia and photos and trophies won by Don Bradman in his cricket years. There is also a collection of his Australian Team jackets. I would highly recommend this museum to anyone, especially to all Australians in memory of this... More

Many people in Australia wrongly believe Sir Don Bradman (the greatest cricketer ever) was born in Bowral NSW. I have also heard Adelaide was his home town! His parents worked on a property approx 20 km from Cootamundra and the building in Cootamundra that was his birthplace was at the time a midwifes residence / workplace. The family moved to... More

Unexpected little treasure in this tiny house in Cootamundra. A building on the same property also houses a collection of everyday items from times gone by. Worth a visit if in the area.

Great little history museum. So much on cricket but also a little memorabilia from many years ago. Very interesting and very well priced. The volunteer working on the day was very keen to show us a few things and happy to help us and the kids. I definitely would go back. Well done to the volunteers for keeping places like... More
