The 31km Light to Light Walking Track from Boyd’s Tower to Green Cape Light Station passes through spectacular coastal scenery. At one end, historic Boyd’s Tower overlooks Twofold Bay, at the other the beam of Green Cape Light Station sweeps the ocean from the long arm of its peninsular. The path carries you along unique bushland, rugged coastline, isolated beaches... More

I recently did the last 8kms of the Light to Light walk, leaving from Bittangabee Bay arriving at Green Cape Lighthouse a little over 1.5 hours later. Absolutely enjoyed the walk but expected that the walk would hug the coastline and the views would be brilliant. Instead it was predominantly a bush / woodland walk with the last few kilometres... We bush camped from Boyds Tower to Green Cape Lighthouse - 30km over 3 days meant loads of stopping to swim & cool off & savour the views making this little trek all the more special and worth while. Loads of opportunities for bush camping on empty beaches - just make sure you're well equipped. The walk was suprisingly empty... More

My husband and I did the first 14km of the 30km trail. The track was well marked and easy to navigate. You do need some fitness to take on this trail.would recommend it to those who like to explore.

The Light to Light Walk is an easy scenic 30 km walk that can be started from either Boyds Tower or Green Cape Lightstation and is accessible by car. Parking is available near Green Cape Lightstation and Boyds Tower in Eden, as well as by Saltwater Creek and Bittangabee campgrounds. Be sure to take along plenty of water, adequate sun... More

We just did the first 4-5 km and then came back but the variation in the landscape and vegetation, plus the sea, the birds, the beach, etc made this a beautiful walk to do. We saw black cockatoos at Boyd Tower, a big monitor lizard having a go at an ant mound and amazing rock formations, so we really enjoyed... More

Lovely coast line. Beautiful East coast landscape. Nothing beats the dancing of the whales while you are walking! The sea is the whales' stage! That spectacular sight sure pales the ticks bites into insignificance! Just bring the spray to prevent ticks bites

This has been one of the highlights of our trip. We only walked the 4.2 kms to Leather Jacket Bay and back. The forests, depending on the trees and bushes are different in colour and reminded us of a magic forest, or Hansel and Gretel, where the thicket impresses you, the old giant trees which have fallen down give a... I don't think the height of a particularly hot South Coast summer was a really great idea in retrospect. We only made it to Bittangabee beach from Green Cape before the heat got to us and we turned around. You MUST take your swimmers for this more than superb little beach, it is well protected and is great for kids.... More

Absolutely a great walk We really enjoyed the walk thought the bush and thought the bay before Leather Jacket bay was stunning with all the different rock formations.
