Swimming under Florence Falls was simply breathtaking and glad we made the trip, really impressed with the stair case down into the water and the scenery throughout the whole park is stunning.

Have been going out from Darwin to Litchfield quite a few times on a weekend to enjoy the cool fresh waters of the various swimming holes (usually free from crocodiles and stingers!). Under two hours drive, it is really accessible and makes for a great...More

What a treat.Takes about 2 hours from Darwin in the car. This is a must to see the power of these falls.Although they are generally not open for swimming in the views are awesome.Clearly signposted and you could even do a helicopter ride from Wangi falls.

During week its great, but probably gets busy at weekends. Take an eski and plenty of water & food as there's not much in terms of eateries. Pools excellent and wonderfully warm!

We visited Litchfield during one day. The roads are good, the areas to stop are well signposted and car parking was great, apart from at the Buley Rockholes, as they were understandably really popular on a hot Sunday afternoon ! There is just loads to...More
