The centre had a mass of information on things to see and do. This centre does not actually do the bookings for you. They were as helpful as they could be and very friendly.

we were waiting for weather to clear so we could go camping at Lucky Bay. The staff pointed out a couple of other options for us, They also kindly charged our phones and ipads as we browsed the town itself. Picked them up a couple of hours latter fully charged....Well Done Staff

For the entire Easter holiday this place was closed! What's the point of having a visitors centre for tourists if it's closed during the peak periods?????

Fin J, Tourism Officer at Esperance Visitor Centre, responded to this review

We are sorry you missed us. The visitor centre was open every day of the Easter holiday apart from the Good Friday public holiday. We make an effort to provide notice of our opening hours by displaying them on the door and in our after-hours phone message, website and Facebook page. After-hours information is also available on our outside displays... More

We walked in thinking that we would get a list of must see places and get some local insight information but the lady working there (one of the ladies working there) told us only about the things that we could find on the internet. No local insights or recommendations.

Ran in at 4.50pm and they were very helpful in giving directions. Lots of brochures, advice and tourist gifts. Should have popped in when we first got to town!

Staff was not helpful and unfriendly. Spoils our first impression of Esperance. Might be better off if the Centre is unmanned.

I was disappointed with the staff behind the counter. They were friendly but not over engaging. Esperance probably does sell itself but it would have been good if suggestion have been made.
