Visiting family in Salisbury and seeing the sights. My daughter and I wanted to try local wines so we stopped here. They were knowledgeable about the grapes used to make their sweet wines which they are known for. They had some dry wines and I enjoyed those more.

Enjoyed visiting with our out of town guest. They lived the wines and the staff! The frozen drinks made with the wine was the bomb!!!!! We live close by so will be visiting more often and I am sure will have to be with an order for our out of town guest?

I would give an excellent rate if it was a little bigger and I didn't have to pay for a bag with their logo on it to give as a gift. Always clean and nicely decorated. The Carlos is the best!

I visited today solo, to find some wines to bring back home to the wife. There was a table of three ladies besides me in there. The lady who poured was nice but always seemed to have her attn elsewhere. Her phone, other employees, anyone but me. I was a long way from home (from New Mexico) so I thought she'd... More

Ambiance can go a long way when it comes to wine tastings and this place has absolutely none. It is in an old store front, not old as in "Turn of the century General store" but rather "small 1960's failed shopping center" and it is furnished with what appears to be second hand and dumpster find miss-matched bar stools. The... More

While driving from Raleigh to Charlotte, and taking our time, we decided to stop in at the Old Stone Winery. While this place isnt as big as the Childress Winery we visited earlier, but it was still worth the visit. This is a small storefront winery with a tasting area. You can try from 8 to 16 wines and it... More
