We like to do the pottery loop (where you travel from studio to studio to shop). You actually get to meet the artists that way. However, sometimes a person wants to see a mix of artists' work and may be in a hurry. This shop fills the bill. There are numerous artists represented with a lot of functional pieces. We... More

This is an enjoyable stop and I always find a new piece to add to my collection of pottery and jewelry. Friendly staff and beautiful works of art.

This is a must for anyone new to the Seagrove Pottery experience. The gallery has a large representation of local potters and other artist. The staff is very helpful. They are willing to explain what you are looking at and will help you get exactly what you want. While they sell the items in the gallery they also encourage you... More

Its not your grandmas pottery anymore! This shop carry's many of the local artists. Beautiful pieces, small to large, it gives you a great idea of which shops to visit later. Selection is enormous and the staff friendly and helpful.

Make this your first Stop! We went to the NC Pottery Museum first, which was very informative on history of Pottery in NC and also showed some pieces of many of the potters and a very nice exhibit of one particular artist that rotates. But to get a good sense of the style you want like and which studios you... More

The nicest most helpful people own and run this shop. There are so many artist/potters and styles to choose from. It saves you the time of visiting individual workshops and it's easier to make selections since you can see so much in one place. Definitely worth a trip to this small town if you're anywhere near Seagrove!

Before getting into the specifics of Seagrove Creations, let me make a few comments about the Seagrove pottery experience that might make your trip more enjoyable, or at least more efficient. I had the misconception that Seagrove was a picturesque, tidy village where you could park your car and then walk to the various potters to view their wares. Not... More

We stopped here a couple of years ago and we have since stopped every time we pass Seagrove. They have offerings of most the area potters, maps of all the potteries and are always helpful when asked. We always leave here with purchases and they pack our wares were safely.

Go here first to see what all the potters offer. It will save you time, although none of the potters are too far from each other.
