The interpreter was quite knowledgeable about the period. There is a reconstruction of the original fort. Although it is small, it was worth the visit. In addition, there are nature trails that we didn’t take. This is a good place for kids!

Our visit to Fort Dobbs was very informative! Although the site is a work in progress, there's much to learn! Our History Interpreter, Joseph, was extremely knowledgeable and interesting! The museum is informative, too. Thanks to Joseph for a wonderful history lesson!

We thought we would learn about this Fort but instead, no one working talked to us nor did they explain the history. I grew up traveling around learning my history so I thought this would be interesting since it's local.
