Enjoyed a short tour with the resident Historian. The Fort is being rebuilt and I’m sure this little gem will be seeing more visitors.

The interpreter was quite knowledgeable about the period. There is a reconstruction of the original fort. Although it is small, it was worth the visit. In addition, there are nature trails that we didn’t take. This is a good place for kids!

There's also a pavilion that's available for larger groups. I would assume that you can bring a pet to the outside areas, but it would be best to contact the park staff to be sure.
