The fort is under construction but interesting to see and the guide was very good. There is also a small, but interesting museum on the property. The relationships between the settlers and the various Native American tribes was well explained by the guide.
The interpreter was quite knowledgeable about the period. There is a reconstruction of the original fort. Although it is small, it was worth the visit. In addition, there are nature trails that we didn’t take. This is a good place for kids!
