It is a prehistoric aqueduct where highly mineralized waters flow from the thermal spa of Alicun de las Torres. It is 14 meters high. There are several aqueducts but only one carries water. It is lined with vegetation where the salts are deposited and appears fossilized
I don't know if anything like that exists. It's in the Geopark of Granada. Very close to it are several very well preserved prehistoric tombs

This is one of the regions natural wonders with it’s aqueduct created by the Phoenicians, some 2,300 years ago. The aqueduct used to convey the warm calcium rich mineral water from subterranean aquifers to the surrounding areas.
If you follow the aqueduct's ancient passage through small gorges for a kilometre, you will find yourself at an incredible natural mineral bath complete with a small waterfall on the canyon edge. Laying back in 30 degree water, you are blessed with magnificent views across the canyon. This place is a hidden Andalusian gem.

A hidden pearl. Where does all this water come from with semi desert all around? A short hike, not very well indicated however, will take you around to see these natural aqueducts. As a bonus you will also pass some dolmens. Along the way you have same "cave like" passages and the walls offers some shade. Kids and parents loved it.
