I have seen the Factory before so on this trip to West Jefferson I just shopped for cheese for a nearby cabin stay. Great cheese flavors. Highly recommend the Black Label Sharp White Cheddar.

We should have gotten there earlier to watch the whole process. However a brief documentary film shows most of the process. Across the street, their wonderful store has something for everyone and I loved all the great cheese and jellies that I bought.

Tour is really just watching a film about the cheese making process while viewing the activity within the small factory. Of course, you then have to go into their store and buy some very good cheese.

Fun to watch the cheese being made both in a documentary and in person. The store had great goodies and gifts.

Every time we have company in our beautiful mountains, we always make this a trip. Not only is the cheese great, the atmosphere of such a quaint building is always enjoyed.

This was the first time visiting during the week. No crowds and browsing was easy. No cheese making today but it looked like they had expanded the cheese products. Wine room looked the same and the knock knacks were everywhere. Nice visit.
