The Cape Fear Museum has a lot of different exhibits for different interests and ages. We especially enjoyed walking through the history of the area from pre-settlement times to present day.

I especially liked their Stormfest; with a history of hurricanes in the area & free programming of a weather radio. Beautiful photography available in the gift shop.
