Go right now. Don't stop, put everything down and run on over. The Bellamy Mansion is magnificent all on its own, but right now they are hosting Ivy Hayes paintings upstairs and they are worth the trip all on their own. Devote at least 2...More

What a lovely place. Very informative personal tour. We visited Wilmington on a girl's weekend. We enjoyed the walk from the Riverwalk with more gorgeous homes. Will plan to visit again when the renovations in the slave quarters are complete.

This was a wonderful mansion. However, the docent could have been better, he kept forgetting things and had to backup and fill in missed information. They should prepare a script for him.

Absolutely loved visiting Bellamy Mansion. First off, the neighborhood it's in is gorgeous and merits a walk, itself. We checked in for our tour and waited about 10 minutes for it to start. There are other things to see on the grounds, too, so we...More

The tour and price to get in was great at 10.00! Not to sure if smaller children would enjoy. Thinking 10 and up would if they enjoy history and beautiful homes.

Hug and impressive. Top floor of childrens' rooms and the high-lookout belvedere make this house unique. Also rare are the brick slave quarters and basement kitchen. Enjoyed a thorough, hour plus guided tour by one of the enthusiastic volunteers.

Our tour guide was wonderful and the tour was about two hours but offered great stories and insights to Wilmington during the Civil War era.
