Cotton exchange was a nifty place with lots of fun ecclectic shops and eateries. There was a lovely jewelry shop where I found alot of nice silver pieces that were highly unusual and the owner was very pleasant.

Loved all the shops and the set up of this place. It almost felt like a maze when you went in. You had to go through certain doors to find the shops. Some led outside to more shops. My favorite was a local shop downstairs facing the river. Everything in that store had a story and was from somewhere in... More

Visited here on our way back to Charlotte. Variety of shops offering jewelry, toys, and clothing. My daughters especially loved Ping's Tibet! Lunch at The Basics was wonderful and our waiter was the sweetest. Make sure to stop by The Scoop on your way out for some homemade ice cream. Will definitely be back the next time we are in... And if you have a... More

The Cotton Exchange is located in the old restored section of Wilmington and has a good selection of shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. Good for a rainy or cold day.

Great little maze of shops. Some very interesting. You have to weave your way through different buildings. A little touristy and pricey.
