This convention center is undergoing renovations which will hopefully modernize and make it more aesthetically pleasing. Parking can be difficult except for the deck across the street which connects to the upper level of the convention center with an overheard walkway. Parking in the deck is much better than driving around looking for a space. Look for the signs indicating... More

Renovations in lobby and to entrance blocked walkway, entrance/egress options from auditorium, and views to locate bathrooms and other meeting rooms. It made our event most confusing and uncomfortable. Entrance/exit doors to the convention center were negatively effected by carpet mats jammed against and under doors, blocking exit from the center to the street and creating a significant tripping hazzard.... The convention center was under construction while we were there, but it was still a very nice experience. My only complaint is that at night, so many of the lights inside were turned off that it was very difficult to see. I look forward to returning to our conference next year when it is complete!

I've attended many luncheons, banquets, home shows and a cat show at this venue and find it to be well managed and clean. It's a hassle to park downtown, sometimes even on weekends and you should research parking options ahead of time.

I have visited this Convention Center many times in the past years for conventions, meetings, exhibits, lunches, dinners, etc. I have always enjoyed coming here because it is close to everything in the downtown area, but it appears somewhat run down nowadays and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I know nearby cities have upgraded their convention facilities... More

Statewide meeting back in August, food was so-so and the meeting rooms and halls are showing wear and needs some updating. I work also in conference planning and visit 5 to 6 conference-convention centers a year.

The facilities are very good. Parking is difficult. It is very pretty inside with large spaces. Restrooms are very clean. Catering was good. Will continue to come, but try different ideas for parking. One way streets make it a little tough at rush hour. Policeman in front has big smile so not intimidating.

The Center was easily accessible to the hotel. With rain during my stay, it was fantastic that I did not have to go out into the weather. Rooms within the center had easy access.

I have been there many times. And the place is good for events. I not have problem for parking. And the facility is well kept. It is clean and not have a problem with anything. When visiting there. There are nearby restaurants to eat. Which make the trip more enjoyable.
