This rather small museum offers rotating exhibitions that highlight the history of this historic city. It is definitely worth taking time to see the various exhibits as they are rotated through this museum.

I like to visit. The staff are nice people. The exhibits and location is great. The exhibits are educational. The oral histories are great. And parking is great. Nothing bad about it.

Visited for the first time in August for the National Black theatre festival exhibit. The exhibit was well done. Great use of small space. I plan to go back for the next exhibit planes, trains and automobiles. Very nice treat in Winston Salem.

This is a hidden gem, making the most of its temporary location. The exhibit we viewed was well presented, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
