We only go to Buckstop Junction during Applefest in September but always enjoy it. The buildings are so neat to look through. And the activities are nice. Keeps us busy for a couple hours. We will continue to go each year as a nice family day

Lots of old houses, buildings to tour. Interesting to learn the history of them. I was there during the annual corn feed and Apple fest. Great food and things for kids to participate in. Usually have craft and vendors for your shopping convenience. No alcohol is served or allowed.

Went out to Buckstop Junction for "Applefest" which was a bust. They call it Applefest but nothing baked home made with apples. Sure you can get an apple pie baked from Dan's grocery store but you can do that any day of the week. I would pay double for something home made from apples. Nice band playing and things for... This is such a neat place to visit, we enjoy going into and looking at the old buildings. Can't get enough of the history and character of these buildings. Wish it was open more often.

We went during a special event they had while we ended up being in town. Something like a pioneer day. The buildings are well kept and we enjoyed the actors who put on a little bank robbery show downtown.

We had a lovely tour with Larry. He was knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. Enjoyed the PO, the bank, the general store, gas station, and the period homes. We were only in ND for a short weekend and this was one of the highlights of our trip. Perfect for kids too, there is enough variety to maintain their interest (9 years... More

When you come here you can see and feel the history but you are able to touch and feel how it was back when.

A re-creation of a North Dakota prairie town from the early 1900's - Buckstop Junction has gathered up an old train depot (and equipment), auto garages, banks, houses, and a hotel (among other buildings) from that era to preserve and present to the public. It also contains the Dakota Central & Western Model Railroad Museum, which has an extensive operating... More
