We went there in the morning when they opened. It is smaller than some other zoos, but the weather was overcast and cool which made great day for seeing all the animals. They had camels, reptiles, a great area for smaller kids to play and...More

I had never thought of a zoo as a wedding venue but it was a great place for such an event. Fargo is a big city, I expected a big zoo, but after some thought I think its size is perfect for families. It's not...More

Small zoo that is a fun walk. Great place for small children. Carousel is a must visit. Nice and relaxing place to visit.

We were on a family roadtrip and looking for something to do in Fargo when we discovered the Red River Zoo. It doesn't really compete with the larger zoos in the bigger cities, but this is a very nice small zoo. They seem to specialize...More

This is a little zoo, and I enjoyed the simplicity of it. It was hot and the animals were just trying to find shade and their own comfort, but you could see them. They did a nice job with the exhibits. You can also feed...More

This is a very small zoo and isn't what you would expect. You can get very up close and personal with many of the animals and see a wide variety. We visited in the "off season" and a few exhibits were closed but we look...More

This Zoo is relatively small for the price. Animals were easily seen on exhibits which was nice. Petting zoo was closed which was disappointing for my 3 year old. Clean facilities. Friendly staff.

This is a very small zoo, but the animals were fun to check out. They have chickens, goats, miniature horses, red pandas, armadillos, monkeys, eagles, ducks, geese and some other animals. An enjoyable visit!

I can't imagine why you would need to? The park is very small. I doubt anyone would tell you no though.
