Your pleasant surprise will start as you pull into the parking lot. The grounds are beautiful and elegant. As you enter, you realize this is something special. Every sort of carriage and horse-drawn item you can imagine is in here. This will require some time as the inside is done as nicely as the outside. This is not just old... More

I love going to museums especially if you will learn more about history. I like vintage/antique stuff because it will tell you a lot of stories from the past. I saw a huge collection of carriage over the years! Some were even allowed to ride on so that you can take a picture. For 25$, it's not bad Coz they... More

Having heard of this, I was glad we finally got a chance to walk around and here both the director's presentation and the film in the theatre. One of the gems of Alberta.

this is a great way to spend a day kids and all. the various sleighs, wagons and carriages are interesting but the docents and the plaques have so much information presented in an interesting fashion. the movie about seabiscut and his Alberta born jockey was icing on the cake.it shows how they were used and how styles changed as needs... We found this museum to be much more than we expected. We didn't take the guided tour that was offered, but opted to do our own self guided tour. There are so many carriages that we didn't even know existed. The staff was very friendly. in the restoration area, one nice man answered all of our questions, showed us pictures... More

We spent four hours at this museum and could have spent more. The museum is great with 250 different types of carriages and sleighs. The displays are well put together and informative. There is also information of the factory system that produced carriages and a workshop where the carriages are restored. There were so many different types it reminded me... More

A step back into history to see a very nice variety of carriages and wagons. The tour was well worth the money plus there is a shop where they restore carriages for individuals. Truly fascinating and educational.

For years had driven by. Stopped today and so glad we did!!. An incredible display and presentation. A true gem for this small community. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. And who can go to a carriage museum without a ride!. Great time.

Fun and very educational. Learned a lot about Southern Alberta history and that these craftsmen supply wooden wheels for a lot of other historical places.

Our visit to the Remington Carriage Museum was an excellent choice. I had heard about it, and always liked horse and carriages, so couldn't pass this up. We were pleasantly surprised. Very well organized and the displays were awesome. Could have spent many hours there, but only had 3 to go. We made sure we took the carriage ride too.... More
