One of the best experiences we had in Canada
Jun. 2019
If you want a real getaway, and authentic riding experience, this is the place to be. We rented the cabin on the ranch, which is quite nostalgic but perfectly kitted out. The main draw for us was the riding, and it was great to just go out with Kate who was so enthusiastic about her part of the world. I didn't want to leave. Really well cared for horses. Of course we should mention Richard, who took us out one day, and Kate's mum and dad who were so welcoming, you felt like family.

There are other things to do in the area, although we decided to stock up and just hideout there, away from everything for a few days.

Fabulous wildlife to be seen. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful ranch and wonderful horses
May 2019 • Friends
We werena group of inexperienced riders, Kate and Richard made us all comfortable and were sure to tell us about the personalities of each horse. They matched personalities with each person in our group and took the time to adjust stirrups to be sure everyone was comfortable. Open trails and pure beauty. We had a great time (despite the rain). Thank you for your hospitality!

A rare and true Canadian gem.

One of the, if not the, most beautiful ranches in Canada. South West Alberta, along the eastern slope of the Rockies, is a paradise few are aware of. It rivals anything you will find in Montana, Colorado and Utah without a doubt.....and it is right here in Canada. I would highly recommend staying and riding at Centre Peak High Country Adventures. You will not be disappointed. Kate, Dan and Puff are the nicest people you could ever meet and they make you feel like part of the family. We look forward to meeting Richard on our next visit. If you are looking for a western paradise, and a story book Canadian experience, this is it!

The best trail ride in my life :)
Jul. 2018 • Family
It was the best trail ride in my life. My Mother and me enjoyed it very much. Great horses and we were welcomed warmly. Kate explained us a lot about the animals and their farm. We saw deers, squirrels, cows and mountain sheep, it was really amazing! It was very personal and we had a free hand with the well trained horses there was a wonderful view. We went on a three our trail ride through Kate familys farmland crossed little creeks, went through bushes and hills. Because I‘m an experienced rider I could even go faster in gallopp. It was really a great experience, I can recommend it absolutely..fantastic thank you very much Kate!

So here's to the nicest family I have ever met! My best friend and i stayed at the ranch for a taste of ranching life and it was the best trip ever! The horses second to none (as an animal lover the welfare of the horse is most Important and these horses were in fabulous shape it's clear how much they care for their horses) the accommodation was a dream cute and quaint I loved it ! The hacking was amazing and working with the cattle was the best. I really hope the wedding venue idea comes to play as this is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. (And I have traveled a bit) spectacular scenery, amazing horses, fabulous people I can't rate these guys enough, from an hour trail ride to a week on the ranch you won't be disappointed. Lots of love guys. Kate Cornwall xxxx

Awesome! A bucket list item for sure!

My husband, 10 year old daughter and I went for a one hour trail ride . My only regret is that we didn't go for longer . Kate is and great gal , and hostess . The horses are well mannered. It was extremely windy the day we went and the horses reacted quite well.
It's a great place to get off the beaten path and really enjoy the scenery and majestic beauty of the area. Loved it! Thanks Kate!

Terrific and unique trail ride, not far from Waterton Lakes
Sep. 2015 • Couples
This trail ride experience plus its location fit very well into our Montana/Alberta vacation this summer and it was one of the high points of our trip.

The ranch is located only about an hour north of Waterton Lakes National Park and fit in very well with our route of going over Crows Nest Pass back to Kalispell (it is about 10 miles north of Highway 3 just before the pass). The ride to get there is through the ranch country of Southern Alberta.

Kate took us on the ride and we were able to go at our own pace, ride side by side when we wanted, and the ride was tailored to our riding experience. Also, the horses were a great match to us.

The ride is through Kate's family ranch. The scenery is wonderful with the Livingstone Range immediately adjacent to the ranch and Waterton Lakes/Glacier National Parks can be seen in the distance. Our conversation with her while we rode ranged from the history of the area to our respective families which made for an extremely enjoyable ride.

If your travels take you through this area and you want to ride, I would definitely suggest looking into this.

Not Your Typical Trail Ride - so much more.
Aug. 2015 • Family
My 14 year old son and I took a wonderful trail ride with Kate - it was more than expected. I hadn't ridden in years and this was my son's first time on a horse. This is Kate's back yard - where she has lived her whole life and it showed in her ability to provide an interesting and comfortable trail ride. She provides a personal touch - we were not put in a large group of strangers riding on a well-worn path - it was just us and Kate - a lovely ride up through the scenic foothills - beautiful, peaceful. Thanks Kate!
