By no means does the title of this review "Wont go back!!" mean that this golf course is not a beauty. Its design, clubhouse, condition are all great. However, there are other great golf courses in the area that I would rather spend a day...More

I just heard that there is a new Owner on this Golf Course after it went in to receivership. Happen to have dealt with that particular owner before and based on my experiences with him, this place will become soon the greatest place in Canada....More

I have golfed numerous Edmonton area courses and have to say the Northern Bear is definitely in the top three. The price is a premium but the course conditioning, challenge off the tee (and every other shot) and friendly staff make it worth it. I...More

Hi. I have played here a few times in the past and always enjoyed the course. It seems like it has grown up nicely and looks really good right now. I had a great experience with the entire staff from the bag boy to the...More

Although it is a bit of a drive out of the city, Northern Bear has always been our go-to course. It is not packed like the city courses and is a bit more challenging. The clubhouse and course are quite beautiful. The carts previously had...More

The course itself plays very well with an interesting and challenging layout. Staff were friendly and attentive, course marshal politely kept the pace and 90* rule. Club house is well located. Down side, hot dog buns were stale, Carts no longer have GPS, waterfall feature...More

Thanks for taking the time to provide a review. As we near the end of the season, certain features of the course (like the waterfall) are shut down early for maintenance. There is a GPS replacement app that we now recommend people use for their...More

The course itself was in good shape but management was less than stellar. To pay $135 a round there are some expectations. Like the GPS in the carts should work, services should be friendly and helpful. Marshall and starter were good. I would never go...More
