About
The Ktunaxa First Nations peoples embraced the nupika wu’u, or hot mineral waters, for their healing and rejuvenating powers and the Ainsworth Hot Springs has been welcoming guests since the 1930s. Explore our distinctive caves where HOT mineral water flows freely from the earth, creating a natural steam bath. The hot water is cooled to a comfortable 35C-37C as it enters into the main lounging pool. Immerse yourself in the warm soothing mineral water for a relaxing yet invigoration experience!

Disappointed at how the resort is managed. Is quickly becoming a dirty tourist trap and treating locals poorly. Very sad, but will probably be a dump in a few years with the lack of any cleaning or care of the property. They slapped some cheap renos on it, but it's still the dumpy building from the 60s. Lipstick on a pig at twice the price and half the customer service.

This is the third time in 20 years we have visited the pool and caves. And once again, we had a great time. Nice warm water in the pool and a great experience in the caves. Changing rooms clean, lots of lockers and nice showers. We managed to stay in the water for an hour but minerals do make you feel tired eventually.

Change rooms are clean. Lots of lockers. The caves are always a hit and the pool itself has some great views and is just the right temp to road for an hour or two. A must stop when in the area. Appointments are now required

We stayed for two nights. The pools and caves are fantastic however being a mineral pool etc the water does discolour your swimsuits so don’t bring your most favourite. I wish they would state that in their promotions. We stayed in the Yaqan Nukiy room. Very nice although it really should have a microwave!! & screen door ( balcony)so you could have it open without bugs coming in.
Ktunaxa grill was very good.

We reserved a spot as early as possible in the morning, and the pool and caves were therefore not too busy and quite enjoyable. Everyone had a good time from our 10 month old to the 70+ grandparents!

As the website mentions, the Hot Springs do offer warm waters that relax the muscles…. however, they do not often bring a sense of calm. The rules around the pool area are just a suggestion - it gets very noisy with kids running around and shouting; staff will not enforce their rules. Loved the caves but the whole experience was not that great.

drove 8 hrs - no regrets. Clean, small enough not to have a crowd in the pool/cave. Lakeview rooms, restaurant. Really good time...

Hotsprings were phenomenal. Skip the resort though. With covid there are no visitors which is ok however people took it on themselves to party in the parking lot past midnight. Awful sleep when your window is above it and staff did nothing to stop it despite quiet time from 11 pm to 7am

Way too much chlorine in the pools, change rooms need privacy for men, out dated, food is mediocre and very expensive.
Lounge and restaurant close early as the pools, bring a book!! Or watch t.v in your room after 9.
