Enjoyed the shop. It has some interesting local items and arts. Some jewelry, clothing, shell buttons, and had an attached Coffee shop.

A great selection of local products with a fantastic staff member overseeing the shop and coffee bar, where we also indulged. My husband said it was the best Americano he has had. 😉

Fantastic locally run gallery, coffee shop, and gift store. Beautiful selection of jewelry, art, books, clothing, and other locally crafted goods. Also offer cultural tours which can be booked directly through the shop. Located very close to the ferry and U’mista Cultural Centre- look out for the beautiful and colourful murals!

Easy to find, and they have a coffee/tea shop!
Nice selection of gifts, reasonable pricing. If you grab a coffee - amazing view of the harbour, so take some extra time to sit and enjoy.
Staff was welcoming.

My daughter, who was a barista herself for several years, ordered a mocha coffee when we stopped in. A lovely girl named Gwanti made the coffee and my daughter who is a coffee snob said it was the best mocha she ever had. It was a lovely seaside setting to have a great cup of coffee and would definitely recommend this place.

The Culture Shock is a beautiful location over the ocean to stop for a coffee or smoothie and pick up a unique gift. The staff is so great. I love going in and chattting with Arthur or Barb. An Alert Bay must go!
