We have little kayak experience, but are BC locals so not unfamiliar with the waters. We had not kayaked at night before, or been to Egmont for that matter (unless you count the 1980’s, that one time with family).
From booking right through to dry land orientation, the tour, and post tour social debriefing/ chatter – Greg and Marielle checked all of the boxes with a bold marker. We felt safe, welcomed, educated, and excited. We all felt their passion as stewards for the earth. They are such caring individuals, inspiring small groups of people to connect to nature.
Don’t forget to say hi to Marco Polo (the wonder dog) while you’re there. He’s a kind and gentle soul as well and does his canine part in greeting the humans. It’s his job for which he is handsomely compensated for in treat form before retiring for the evening.
(We will be back many times, and with the kids too next time around).
