The hike to the Falls is about 7km round trip and well worth it! It is a fairly easy 2 -3 hour walk with some up and down terrain along the beautiful Rosewell Creek. You are surrounded by lush forest and beautiful flora and fauna.

Nice hiking trails totaling roughly 7.5 km but note this trail is not an easy access for everybody. You need good walking shoes plus a cord for certain places. Our dog's leash helped us to go around very abrupt and slippery edges that unfortunately has...More

We loved crossing over the train trestle for the short path around Rosewall Creek as it reminded me of my youth! The park is easy to find just off Hwy 19A, plenty of free parking, only steps to the water, and good outhouse facilities. A...More

I have hiked up to the falls on several occasions now. The trail is a bit rustic but it is a nice hike along Rosewall Creek. There has been quite a bit of flood and wind damage to the trail lately. We were there most...More

I visited this park in the winter, while the snow was lying on the ground. I did not encounter any wildlife, other than several salmon carcasses on the ground by the creek. I enjoyed walking over the train trestle as the sun was about to...More

I go here every year around this time. Most of the leaves were on the ground today, making a yellow-brown carpet throughout the rain forest. It's a hauntingly peaceful place.

I have hiked the lower and upper parts. Usually done with my hiking group. Great photo opportunities, always refreshing walking through the first. The upper part, you are climbing. The lower is easier.

My first time hiking this trail but will be back. Perfect for a hot summer day, as it is quite shaded, with beautiful views of rippling creek and a swimming hole by the waterfalls to cool off in. A few tricky spots along the route...More

We often spend a weekend in Deep Bay and will go to Rosewall Creek for a pleasant forest walk. This 100+ year old forest follows a creek bed and has many cedars and maples. Go before 3 in the summer while it's still sunny, and...More

We live 5 minutes away from Rosewall and when we are in Fanny Bay we go at least 3-4 times a week. It has old growth forest following along side the creek which can be a river when we have heavy rains. You must watch...More
