About
Hi, we are Robyn & Dan. We own Anam Cara, a 46' long Hunter sailboat and love to guide sailing adventures on Okanagan Lake. Dan holds Transport Canada’s Small Vessel Operator certification and Sail Canada Cruising Skipper. Dan has a keen interest in the traditional navigation practices and applies this learning to life. Robyn has Sail Canada Cruising Crew, is a 500 RYT yoga instructor and loves to guide breathwork and meditation practices. We are fully certified and insured for charters.

Naramata Sailing

I took my 15 year old grand daughter on a 4 hour sail with Robyn and Dan and we were absolutely thrilled with the day!! Robyn and Dan are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcome and communicate all the necessary things you need to know. It was a lot of fun and such a great way to spend time~ feeling the wind, peaceful and relaxed! Do it!! Thanks R & D!

Awesome day sailing… without getting seasick. Robin and Dan were great. A little bit of a sailing lesson and next thing you know… I’m driving!!!! I mean sailing. 😁Beautiful experience ina beautiful location.

Pure joy! The perfect way to spend a day!

Pure joy! An incredibly welcoming, fun, and informative experience. Dan & Robyn are wonderful hosts; they took the time to educate me on the art of sailing and the sailing boat itself. We had a beautiful day relaxing on the lake. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to go again!

Peaceful serenity. Robyn and Dan are detail focused and are sure to tend to your every need so that you can rest fully knowing you are well cared for. A wonderful chance to disconnect from the fullness of everyday life and connect to the wind and water.
You will not be disappointed with this unique, one of a kind experience. Highly recommend.

Soulful Sailing

If you're looking for something out of the ordinary, then look no further! Dan & Robyn are a lovely couple who offer a soulful experience in a beautiful part of the world. They've crafted a sailing adventure that not only allows for time on the water with other like-minded souls but also depth of conversation and guidance as you navigate the internal winds and waves that move you. You're in very capable and compassionate hands. I enjoyed my time with Dan & Robyn immensely and I look forward to many more adventures together.

Lovely experience

It was my first time sailing and such a beautiful experience to do it with Robyn and Dan. I learned so much and soaked up everyone minute of it.

Would recommend to anyone visiting the Okanagan that wants an authentic experience on the water.

Sailing on Okanagan lake in this beautiful boat under full sail in a brisk wind is a magical experience. You can feel the full blended power of boat and wind while manning the wheel under the watchful eye of captain Dan and 1st mate Robyn.

A great time on Lake Okanagan

We had a fantastic afternoon of sailing. You start your adventure with a safety briefing so there is no guessing about what will be happening on your trip and you can relax right from the start. Dan and Robyn are happy to show anyone who would like, how to take the helm, maximize speed for the wind conditions and learn about sailing and their beautiful boat. You can also just enjoy the ride, scenery, food and their great company. Highly recommend.
