Okay, so this place is cute and rustic as others have said, but I feel they fail in the wine department. Their pinot gris is nice, and I've had it before. We went there, because I thought this meant their other wines would be just as good. They don't have the pinot gris as a taster, which is a downfall... More

This winery had some of the best wines we tried and the best views! The people were great and accommodating! Definitely will go back next time I'm in the area!

Quite rustic. Nice views from the deck. An unusual experience, similar to other reviewers’ comments, below. We tasted Cab Franc and Syrah and left a $3 tasting fee.

We visited this location during a wine tour. The lady at the tasting room seemed uninterested and not engaged. The wine didn't impress and we walked out of this location empty handed

Superb wines. Very pleasant tasting experience given by a very sweet staff member. The winery itself is lovely. We took her suggestion to have our picnic lunch on the picnic table in front of the winery. The view was incredible and the pinot gris so delicious with our picnic lunch. Definitely one of the memorable highlights of our trip!

We have visited here often and quite enjoy the wine. Unfortunately, despite the sign, the winery was not open when we tried to visit. Call in advance to confirm their hours.

Nichol Winery is in a nice location, with great views over the hills of Naramata. The nine mile white (mix of Gewurztraminer and Riesling) was the highlight of the tasting. The tasting room is nice and spacious and it's possible to enjoy a glass on the patio as well.

Small winery and personalised attention at our tasting made this a real treat. The Pinot Gris was recommended by an acquaintance but we ended up with something completely different. Not that we didn't like the Pinot but found a special red to add to our collection.

Stopped in for a tasting and found it to be average. The lady that helped us was very nice but the wines weren't to our liking. Not to say they weren't good but we didn't care for them. Not a huge selection but one might find what they like here if you like dry wines. The view from the patio... More

We've been going to Nichol for years and a trip to wine country is never complete without stopping there. Ross and Matt are the ultimate hosts. Knowledgeable and friendly. The Syrah is the best. The Pinot Gris is delicious. Its worth the trip to the far end of the 'bench'.
