We had our first memorable visit to this winery many years ago - before the days of tripadvisor reviews. My husband and I returned to this lovely winery again a few days ago and it was again a wonderful experience. Delicious wine, unpretentious owners and excellent value. Good people make good wine and that's a fact. We can hardly wait to return.

Wow! We showed up here early for our tasting and Diane took us on…love the set up - tables to stand at and plexiglas shields with wine glass shaped cutouts to slide samples back and forth, with the winery logo showing. We tried a number of their wines and walked away with lots to take home…very well priced and excellent quality. We will be back!

Dianne was very informative and personable leading the tastings. I would highly recommend checking out this winery when in the Naramata Bench area. Box pack of wine is such a great idea!

This family run winery and vineyard is our absolute favourite in the Naramata region for Three reasons: GREAT WINES (like, really great, and my partner and I who have different palates, agree on these), AMAZING VIEWS of the lake and vines, and HOSPITALITY of the Oh’s makes this a place you don’t want to miss ( even though you might miss the road, but turn around, it will be worth it).

Wow. What’s fantastic winery. First stop on our tour and what a great experience. Kon Oh was our host for our tasting. What a fantastic host. His knowledge and humour was the perfect way to start the day. Every wine we tried we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back.

Very fun tasting in a misted tent led by the owner. And the wines are outstanding. MOCOJO is family owned and operated; they produce only 2,000 cases a year and they sell almost all of it at the winery. No tour buses here - only a fantastic tasting experience.

What a beautiful time we had with the owner yesterday! Wonderful story of family legacy here at this winery! There wasn’t one wine we tasted that I didn’t want to buy! This is a family run vineyard and it sure had that feel as the owners daughter was on site working and the family’s dog, Moose, was right there greet us and walk us in! I highly recommend a visit here. You won’t regret it!

We stopped in and were greeted by a very friendly family dog. I bought the Malbec, Merlot and Rose Oh bubbly. The owner was just great and engaging and very helpful. Loved the wonderful view.

Our visit to MOCOJO was a bit of a happy accident; we had spent two hours hiking the Kettle Valley Trail from Penticton and we’re heading down from the trail towards the main road, to meet with our friends and visit one or two wineries. On the way down we saw MOCOJO was open for tastings, and went in to see if their tasting setup could accommodate our dog, who was along for the drive.
We met Diane, one of the owners who warmly welcomed us (and dog) to the outdoor tasting area. We were fortunate that there were only a couple other guests while we were there, and while we waited for our friends to join us, Diane had the time to engage us in a nice chat about wine and all things related. Of course it’s always a more special experience when you have the opportunity to visit with a winery owner, their passion and knowledge always shines through, and Diane was no exception.
We had an opportunity to sample 5 wines, for a modest $5 tasting fee, waived with the purchase of a bottle. I like that philosophy of wine tasting; I don’t like to feel obligated to buy in case I am genuinely not taken by the particular wines on offer. That was not a problem in this case, there was universal agreement amongst the three of us tasting that all five wines were worthy of purchase. Our budget allowed for the purchase of two, a merlot and a gewurztraminer that were unique in that the grapes were harvested in 2018, a notable forest fire season in the region. Whether the smoke in the air that year gave our chosen wines the special taste we enjoyed enough to want to purchase, I’m not sure, but enjoy them we did.
MOCOJO is definitely worth as visit, and combining that visit with a hike on the very scenic Kettle Valley trail is certainly an option we would recommend.

Thank you for choosing MOCOJO and taking the time to share a very kind review. Stopping by in the fall is a perfect time to enjoy a bit of a slower pace here in beautiful Naramata. Enjoy your wine, be well and I look forward to your return visit and getting caught up on the olive grove trimming. ;)
