About
The massive mountain rises 4000 vertical ft and covers 3000 acres of terrain suitable for all abilities. Intermediates carve the famed fall-line groomed runs while advanced skiers revel in the steeps of Taynton Bowl. The summit’s 8000 ft elevation, just below tree-line, provides breathtaking views and stands tall over this convenient ski-in/ski-out village and the nearby quaint town of Invermere. After an exhilarating day on the slopes guests rejuvenate in Canada’s largest slopeside hot-pools. The resort’s relaxed character and abundance of onsite activities including heliskiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and tubing make it a favourite for destination skiers. This is Panorama Mountain Village.

Planned to ski at Panorama on January 4th and have a Louise season pass where they are supposed to offer 25% off for season pass holders. They say it’s “blackout dates” but still offer the discount to lake Louise plus card holders??? Not only do they not offer the discount - they increased the day pass for an adult to $166/day which is extremely compared to other larger resorts in the area. Fernie for example is 2x the size and is only $149 for the day. We didn’t ski there and instead drive to Kimberley where we can support a hill that doesn’t take advantage of their customers. Very disappointed with their huge jump in price for the holidays.

Such a disappointing trip. The condition of the room was horrible, all the restaurants have gone down in quality and up in price. Won’t be going back

The check-in was very well done, Mandy did a great job of welcoming us to the resort. The accommodation we were given (1000 Mountains - Summit) was well appointed (except as noted below) and very handy to getting on to the first chair lift in the village, parking and ski storage within the building are excellent, as was the hot tub especially after enjoying a great day of skiing on a spectacular mountain. Biggest issue is the internet connection speed for guests - dial up would be faster! For a world class resort a disappointment. Also the accommodation lacked some of the amenities that would be expected such as coffee, tea and tissues. Not withstanding, would definitely recommend Panorama Mountain Ski Resort

Finally got to cross country ski at Panorama Mountain Resort and the experience from start to finish was exceptional. Super friendly staff in the pro shop, great grooming and spectacular skiing with superb views. Sound COVID protocols made the day seem normal. I highly recommend getting out on the trails for a good workout in a beautiful and friendly location.

We have been coming here for the last 15 years, and we feel we are part of Panorama family. We know most people on the hill, and we feel like home here. During these tough times we understand the changes we need to accept. Everyone on the hill is amazingly forgiving, except the girls at the Summit Hut, they need to slow down with the yelling at clients. We all know the rules, there is no need for foul language or raised tone of voice. We need to get thru this together. Other than that, we appreciate your efforts, as always. Thank you.

Skiing is really nice. Lots of well groomed trails, but also many options for what ever skiing you want to do. You can ski the trees and bowls and really push yourself, or just work the main hill. The skiing is fast and well laid out. They get lots of powder and leave the hill this way after nice snow falls. Not the biggest resort, but I really enjoyed the small feel, but the hill is huge.

A great weekend getaway from the city with the family. Be sure to stay at least a few nights to enjoy all the mountain has to offer. My teenagers skied and snowboarded and loved it. We cross country skied at Grey Wolf next door which has spectacular views. We soaked in the warm pools and skated at night and went for many lovely walks around the village and the river. Alto serves delicious meals, or you can order in. There are coffee shops, a snack huts up the hill, a grocery store, liquor store and a candy cabin! We absolutely love Panorama and have been coming for years. We noticed many improvements over the last few years.

Other reviews are accurate about the parking. There’s very limited parking anywhere near the base and the parking attendants will not let you near to drop kids etc. So if you have young children and associated gear it’s an ordeal. Like others said you can pay $1000 for a guaranteed spot in the upper lot that is reasonably close to the lifts.

Outstanding Mountain, the skiing was fantastic, as it snowed 24 cm overnight, couldn't ask for a better day. I could honestly say it is the top mountain in the region for all classes of skiing, from beginners to expert runs. Everyone greets you, a very friendly mountain experience.
One huge asset was the cross country skiing at the golf coarse, we rented skis and boots there and the trails were outstanding, very well groomed, and since we are new to the cross counting skiing, a lot of people on the trails gave us good tip on the hills in the back country. This is a must do thing when visiting Panorama.

Anyone know of a better deal on Panorama lift tickets other than buying direct? Just going for one day next week.
Thanks!
