Five stars is not enough! Our tour guides on our 4 day trip Daniella and Lee took such good care of us! We saw Orcas every day. They were tireless and went above and beyond! Gourmet vegetarian and vegan meals, amazing kayaking experience - they shared so much knowledge about the whales and the surroundings. I will be back!

We can only say great things about this company and this trip! All of the tips and recommendations on what to pack and how to get to where the trip began that were provided by ROW were spot on. It was our first camping trip and our guides worked so hard to make it amazing. The food, the scenery, our fellow kayakers and of course the Orcas - it was all so special and unforgettable! Thank you to our guides and ROW for an absolute experience of a lifetime!

Amazing experience! Excellent food, amazing company, beautiful landscapes, friendly knowledgeable tour guides, and of course majestic orca! Wish I could have done the 6 day to catch some more glimpses of wildlife.

I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone who needs to "reconnect to nature". We saw breathtaking landscapes and wild animals including seals, humpbacks and orcas. The rowing is good but not too intense so good for all levels. The guides are very knowledgeable, professionnal and serious. The food they cook is very good, fresh and healthy. A nice chemistry is created among the group of travelers - we shared and laughed a lot. Thank you Terry and Daniella!

I just came back from the 6-Day Blackfish Waters Orca Kayak Tour. I can't say enough good things about the trip...but I will try. If you read the description of the trip on their website, they did not exaggerate about what you will see and experience. The kayaks they supply are great. We had a combination of singles and doubles that were sturdy and relatively easy to paddle. Life vests, spray skirts, paddles and booties are all provided by the company, all in good shape. We slept in tents that were on wooden platforms allowing us to sleep on cots in them instead of on the ground...sleeping bags with liners and Thermarest pads and pillows provided. The food was extraordinary. Pancakes with bananas, nuts and chocolate chips for breakfast with a side of fruit and hot drinks and juice, Eggs Benedict (including Hollendaise sauce), lasagna baked in a dutch oven, pineapple upside down cake, tortilla soup...I could go on and on with the amazing food...all made from scratch in the woods. I never imagined I would gain weight on a trip with this much activity...must have been the raisin bread french toast. Our guides were remarkably talented chefs, accommodating all dietary styles. We paddled every day for at least a few hours, pace often determined by whether we needed to move to a new camp, beat a tide change, or if it was a lazy paddle day. We had many, many opportunities to see wild life up close and personal from the kayaks as well as from our camps. Orca sightings almost became an everyday experience, humpback whale sightings were almost commonplace. Bald eagles screeched at us from tree tops and seals peeked at our camps to see what we were doing. The kayaking times were at a good pace, not a death march pace, with breaks for water, snacks and some potty breaks on shore. Lunch was typically on shore along the way. Magically salads and sandwiches were produced while we tide pooled and explored whatever island or cove we had landed in. The most important element that made the trip so fantastic were the guides. Our guides Daniella, Becky and Rae were not only excellent chefs, had encyclopedic knowledge of wildlife, were physically very strong (lifting kayaks onto shore that the rest of us struggled with), but always smiling, laughing, listening to our jokes (and laughing), and happily engaging with us (when they weren't cooking, cleaning, prepping, etc.). Their happy attitude made even our rainy days fun and full of adventure. In conclusion: if you are looking for an awesome kayak experience in British Columbia waters, go with them. You will have an fabulous time.
