Debbie and Dough are the leasers of The Ravens Cry Theatre . I always thank them as through their initiatives I can watch Opera from the MET., plays from London in HD .
They also facilitate the Film Societies movies as well as many live performances. They are a great asset to the Sunshinecoast community.
The theater is comfortable in all the seats and the surround Dolby Sound is superb. The lobby is nicely decorated with native art and it is always a pleasure to enter the theatre which is clean and well kept. Personal food is allowed into the theatre when operas are shown and besides the popcorn and pop available, there is also coffee, tea and treats.

We enjoy going to events and movies at this theatre. Staff are friendly, popcorn is yummy (especially with the real butter) and prices are very reasonable. Lots of programming variety.

The Ravens Cry theatre is located in Sechelt. It is a small comfortable theatre, with good seating. In winter it is warm and cozy and summer cool and comfortable. The movies are current, sound is great and staff are friendly and courteous. There is a seniors rate and a frequent user card.

I'm a local and treasure the opportunities that the Ravens Cry brings to us. Whether it's feed from the National Theatre, Opera or just plain movies this is the best!! In our remote corner of the world the Raven's Cry connects us to New York, London etc. we are so lucky!!

Raven's Cry is the central theatre/movie theatre on the coast. It is a beautiful building in the style of the Shishalh Nation. The whole complex is decorated in many beautiful native carvings, even the sides of the Band offices have beautiful native design relefs on them. The is a fantastic gift shop that sells native artist designs in many different products. The art work is stunning. The complex also contains a beautiful theatre that doubles as a movie theatre that shows first run movies; it is also used for the many live performing arts programs. Ravens Cry is a treasure on the coast.

Whenever a movie comes to town that we want to see, This is the place to see it here in Sechelt. For a small town its a big theatre. Well staffed and professional. Has everything the big city has to offer for a more reasonable cost.

Raven's Cry Theatre is a small theatre in a small town, but they have dolby sound and bring in top movies, it only cost $10.00 for an adult. They have a card that is stamped when you watch a movie, so after your 10th movie the 11th is free. The popcorn is reasonably priced and a small is only $3.00. So if your in town come by and watch a movie. On the weekend they have opera and plays via satellite so much to enjoy. During the wait for the movie, they display local artists work, various forms of paintings, ect.
