great ride , thanks tanja and her team for this evening ride the ride last for over two hour , different style of horse for everyone , we ride in the field, bush, climbing ...

The people at Mountain View really take care of their animals (including the wild ones). The horses are healthy, well behaved, and know the trails. The people there are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They have no problem taking only 2 people out for a trail ride.
Our guide was great . She gave us plenty of local info (where to go, what to do) as well as took a couple of memorable photos of us in a meadow with a mountain range in the background.
We took a 2 hour ride but should have gone for at least another hour. The scenery here is spectacular. The valley is surrounded on 3 sides with alpine mountains that look just like pictures of Austria and Switzerland. The area is full of wildlife and you never know what might popout into view.
Highly recommended if you love horseback riding.

Mountain View Adventures had healthy, well cared for horses with personality for all levels of riding ability. Angelika and Tanja Langen, the mother-daughter team owners, were very helpful with riding tips, really knew their horses and the area, and were very friendly. They had a variety of trails from a few hours ride to overnight trips. The views were amazing! There were quiet, cool forest paths and open mountain meadows full of wildflowers with great views of the mountains over Smithers. The longer trail ride into Silver King Basin in the Babine Mountains was surreally beautiful! Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

I've been to Mountain View Adventures many times over the years and they always have impeccable service, safety, and quality. You can choose from different length of trail rides with horses that could lead you home safely in a snow storm. The owners are absolutely passionate about what they do and will give you the best experience you could possibly hope for. Great value for the service they provide. Would completely recommend from first time to experienced riders. The owners also run a wildlife shelter and so there is the occasional animal you can see down at the horse barn. You have nothing to worry about when you are going out with Mountain View Adventures.

Fun, knowledgeable guides, safe patient horses and gorgeous views. My young daughter loves riding here.

Ended up in Smithers with time to spare and found this beautiful place. Great views during our ride, very pleasant guides. Happy to have stumbled upon these folks during our travels. Will definitely be back when out this way again.

This is a fabulous place to go for a trail ride. The horses are all very well cared for, much loved, and well trained. The scenery is magnificent. The people are professional, kind, and caring.

These people know and love what they do. They are a wildlife rehab center as well as offering the trail rides, and they love animals. We had 7 of us go, ranging from beginner to novice riders, and they paired the horses with us very well. They had 3 guides come with us for our 3 hour ride, and they read the horses and riders to gauge how they are for the trip- if the lineup needs to be revised due to horses moods, and keep a good eye on us riders. They provided tips to make us and the horses more comfortable through our ride, the views were stunning, they offered to take a group picture of us, and Tanja listened and responded to my incessant nattering the whole ride and didn't think my questions were stupid! 5 stars for her for that alone!
