Amazing trip on boat 'Eagle 48' with Mike and Perry. It included a light breakfast onboard and a lovely picnic style lunch in Glendale Cove.
It was foggy on the way out, but we still managed to see Orcas breaching and humpback whales.
Never thought I would see so much wildlife in one tour !! Amazing day out. Loved the passionate guides we had. They were so well educated in all the various fish, birds, animals and mammals, Loved th whole day from beginning to end.
I must admit that until the second half of this tour I was a little disappointed. After the 2hr boat ride to Knight Inlet/Glendale Cove we were told that we would not be going out on on the flat bottom boats as the salmon had...More

Our most dependable month is June, Tide Rip Tours has never been "skunked" (West Coast expression for "not seeing" or in fishing, "not catching") in June. In June there is typically a big male grizzly trying to mate with a not-to-interested female. This mating pair moves along the beach, displacing the Mom's and cubs which hide down inlet in old avalanche chutes (we now where they hide). Our viewing skiffs and approach route allows flexibility in viewing; we know where the bears are, we can get you there.
