While the grounds and main house of the Filberg Lodge are supposedly the reasons to visit, the gift shop is the draw. It isn't done up for X'mas so don't expect lights and the usual festive season decorations. Year-round, the gift shop has very nice vintage collectibles for sale, which are also part of the decoration in the lodge. Not... More

Beautiful park and grounds overlooking the Goose Spit and Comox Bay. There is a lovely tea house for lunch or a drink! Sometimes there are art shows in the Lodge.

This park is so well maintained and looks stunning! It also has an amazing view by the beach. Perfect place for a lunch picnic. They even have farm animals there sometimes so great place to bring the children.

Walked there from the beach and loved the cool leafy beautifully kept gardens. A couple of elderly people were picking apples and offered us each one. They were so good.

This is an outstanding community park. Our children have had their high school graduation ceremonies here, taken our grandchildren here for summer programs and to the petting zoo' as well as spent many "Mother's Day" Teas at the Tea House. The fantastic water view and walking paths make this park a great place to spend a leisurely afternoon. Definitely worth... More

Lovely place to go for a walk thru the gardens, peaceful. The Tea House was a great place to sit enjoy a beverage and take in the beautiful view of the mountains and ocean. Enjoyed our tour of the Filsberg Lodge. The children thought the petting zoo was a lot of fun. Something for everyone.

We visited during the Filberg Festival which takes place every August long weekend with hundreds of artisans displaying their wares. Unbelievable craftsmanship and creativity in the most beautiful of garden settings. We wondered the grounds soaking up the sights and sounds. Without the "festival" the park is still worth a visit. There is a petting zoo, the beautiful gardens, driftwood... More

Today we took in the Filberg Festival and there was a nice summer breeze coming off the Ocean so with sunny weather it was very comfortable. The artisans with their amazing craftsmanship, we bought some board games that were handcrafted in Ontario. This is one of the best artisan exhibits on the Island and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
