This one is two part, first off the winery was amazing. Such great environment and good wines. The musician that plays on the weekends was top notch!! Roland was absolutely amazing, We saw him there and fell in love with his sound and promptly hired him to play at our wedding. He was the highlight of our wedding!! I had no less than 25 separate people come up and tell me how great he was and how it really made the whole wedding better. He played well into the night after a long day at the winery and I just can’t say enough good things about him. Fantastic vocals, diverse playlist and so very personable!!!
He is worth a trip to listen to and even better when you hire him for an event. We will certainly hire him again for our next event.

Can’t go wrong with good wine, a beautiful view and fantastic music !!

What a lovely place! We spent a very enjoyable afternoon tasting their wines while enjoying the view of the Vineyard from the Patio. There was also a very talented Musician playing his Guitar and singing which really added to our visit. All in all a very nice afternoon.

Beautiful winery scene with a great vibe, excellent wine, knowledgeable staff, and excellent service.

We cycled here as part of a wine tour we made up on Google maps. It was our #1 stop of the day and our #1 favourite of the four wineries we visited.

Cheers to a good time!

Amazing experience, wonderful service, beautiful vistas and an awesome house band. The Ortega is now my favourite wine! I’m so glad I was introduced to Enrico wines. I will need to come back every time I visit the Island.

This place was a recommendation from another winery. It was cute to walk in and it feels like you are in their kitchen having a glass of wine. The wines we tasted were great. We bought a couple to take home. The tasting room isn't huge but it does have a patio for the warmer months. I'd definitely cone back for a glass of wine on the patio. This was one of the only places that charged for the tasting (most we went to are free if you buy a bottle) but they do give you a branded wine glass to take home.

Almost everyone who has written a review for Enrico seems to be in love with the place. My reviews tend to be a bit cranky but I have to say I really, really liked my wine tasting at Enrico Winery. Probably one of the most enjoyable wine tastings I've had in a very, very long time.

Now let me say that I didn't like some of their wines. And I really did like a couple of their wines, enough to buy them. Isn't this why we go to wineries? To try out new wines?

I actually went online to see if our experience there was a fluke or not; glad to see that it wasn't. Every winery I go to forces you to use the same glass over and over and over. Of course there's cross contamination between the pours. I was stunned when the woman pouring for us brought us a different glass for every pour. Actually, for one pour she brought us TWO glass (one empty); she wanted us to try the wine in the smaller glass and then pour the sample into the larger glass to see the difference in taste. And she was passionate about the wines.

They were busy the day we were there and yet they managed to make it all seem relaxed and fun. Everyone was attended to with the same unhurried ease.

Yep, I'll be back. Soon. With guests.

Spent several hours on a sunny afternoon enjoying tasting several wines and listening to a mellow musician. Great case sale and not the first time we have bought cases from them.

A friend of mine purchased wine tour tickets through the Rotary (fundraiser) and this was the last visit of our 5 wineries. We did this on Saturday, October 5/19. With two golden lions flanking the main gate, you had this feeling of delightful intrigue upon entering the estate. A winding road took us took us to the tasting room that overlooked a pond with a fountain, had a sprawling deck and spectacular views of the vineyards.
The interior had an open concept that was warm and inviting--wooden walls, a massive rustic chandelier and plenty of seating at tables made out of oak barrels and cross sections of native trees. We had 2 ladies provide us with the history of the winery and shared their in-depth knowledge of their wine production. The wine tasting was truly a positive experience and they graciously let us take our customized wine glasses home. I have to say that Enrico Winery produces some very high quality wines and I would suggest you stop by and sample them for yourself.

We pulled up to this place and had an immediate sense of feeling comfortable! Our hostess--Julio-- was knowledge and absolutely a hoot! The wines were so very good and our lunch complimented them as well. Take the time to go here!

There are many wineries to choose from on Vancouver Island and we were delighted to visit Enrico Winery. We met Lorin, one of the owners, the night before at a restaurant on the Malahat Highway and after talking to him we just had to visit the next day. We are so pleased we made the effort to seek out his winery. Based on the volume of wine produced it is considered a boutique winery. We met Lorin again and immediately felt his passion for making wine. He personally poured a wide range of tastings explaining each in detail as he went. We probably learned more about wine in this visit than in all the previous wine tastings in other wineries around the world. The care Lorin and his team puts into producing these wonderful wines is clear. It was great to sit on the deck overlooking the beautiful vineyard and lake. We were there on a day when they were planting 10,000 new vines as part of their expansion. To complement the wine, there is a bistro menu to choose from. The BBQ chicken flatbread was delicious. Lorin told us about his fascinating live music entertainment. We will be back for the music too. Highly recommend that everyone make the effort to seek out Encino Winery. And of course we bought a case to take home. It is only about 7 minutes off the Malahat Highway.
