Actually, it's Rainbow Falls. Nice place to jump in and cool off or fish near White Lake in Whiteshell Provincial Park. It's kind of rocky, so best wear appropriate footwear, like old runners.
It's not a good place for young children to go in the water - no sandy beach, the water is too deep, and there's a current.

Been going here several times per summer for over 50 years. Always something new to see; the whirlpool, loons, herons, seagulls, penguins, small fish, beavers, eagles!

We stopped here briefly for a picnic lunch. There are a few picnic tables surrounded by very pretty scenery. You can swim or wade in the water above and below the small falls which flow over a granite outcropping.

There are washrooms on site.

It is a beautiful drive through the Whiteshell Provincial park to Rainbow Falls. Well worth it since the Falls is a great place splashing in the not so deep cool clear water. People actually can sit and slide down the water fall. We did a little canoeing before the falls where the water is calmer. My brother went fishing on the other side of the falls and caught a Jack-fish. The sun-set was amazing!

We took a camping lot on white lake. The lake itself is nothing special, has a small sandy beach and basic services. About a ten minute walk from the camping ground you will get to the rainbow falls. A nice small water fall, around 5.5 feet in hight and 8 feet wide. No sandy beaches all stone and rock structure. The water is shallow, and the water bed is rocky as well. But it’s nice to get your back massaged while standing under the splashes of the fall. A quick jump from the top of the fall must not be missed. Despite the area can be reached walking, it has a parking area. Its good to combine it with a trip to the area wouldn’t be worth to drive that far only for the falls

About a 10 minute walk from White Lake. Water (in August) was cool but not cold. The third picture that shows the people sitting on top of the falls gives the best impression of the actual size (I'd guess 3 meters or 10 feet). Note that the shoreline in the photos where people are suntanning is smooth rock, not sand. Water is just over waist deep at the highest point. Nice to sit on top of the falls and let the water rush by you, or to go to the base of the falls where the water hits you. Definitely recommended (3.5 stars) if you're camping nearby. There is parking nearby.

We used to go there almost every year when I was a kid. I went years before returning, still so peaceful. I took my wife when we were newly married and again be for the kids. Still a beautiful place to go. We were there a few times when the kids were small, but now they go there on there own and visit the whole area. Look at the picture is enough to answer, should you go? Yes, go. And you’ll never regret it.

If you are in Whiteshell Provincial Park and make your way to White Lake make sure you visit best guarded secret short drive on gravel road past the White Lake Resort.
Place is called Rainbow Falls and is at the end of the road with parking area for visitors, BBQ area for hungry, dock to catch fish, as well as washroom if you need it.
Beautiful elevation difference in river makes the small falls perfect spot to relax and enjoy jumping, tubing, suntanning or just enjoying the nature.
Water is nice and worm this time of the year.
Be careful where you put your steps in the water as there is a lot of hidden rocks underneath the surface.
Love it and will definitively be back to enjoy it more...

Note: This isn't Falcon Lake per listing. It is White Lake which is 1/2 hour away from Falcon. A great place for day trip where you and the family can have a picnic, catch fish from the shore, and/or lie on a rock, bake, and then jump in the water to cool off. The falls are generally safe to jump off the falls with a modicum of caution. This isn't for smaller children and some caution needs to be exercise as there are rocks and swift current to be aware of.
