A place to walk and reflect how our ancestors provided for their families through harvest time, maintaining tractors, and speaking with the elderly, the stories they share. A definite place to visit.

I was dragged here on the pretext of seeing old tractors...well, and the rest! There is a huge collection of artefacts, many with stories attached. We spent all, afternoon quite happily and would definitely go back.

Thanks for sharing your kind write up. SO glad you enjoyed ~ and at the time, our newest 4,000 sq ft life-sized 1920-1950’s street village (with its very unique story) hadn’t even been opened yet, so hope you get a chance to come back to...More

We usually go for a special event - like a special food menu. Tremendous number of artifacts, many still need labelling, but frequently we can figure out the purpose it may have been used for. A lot of the machinery still works.

Very informative and many buildings and vehicles to look at. I love the vintage train station and grain elevator. The blacksmith on hand was very willing to demonstrate the art of blacksmithing and techniques that are used.

Great place to visit but make sure to take time and read up on all the different homes and businesses to get the whole picture. Depending on when you go, there may be different vendors on site for food purchases.

A facility that has a good amount of displays about the old fashioned farming activities of the 20- to modern day practices. They also have a catering and fish fries occasionally.
