Crew was upbeat and positive. The Captain was an OK guy, just not overall friendly that day. We didn't see any whales. Long 5.5 hours. Bring lunch - Stop at Newton's on the way and get a sandwich. They will make off the menu upon...More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. Unfortunately there will be a day or two each season when we cannot find the whales. As you might expect, this can be frustrating for the Captain and crew, who want to give everyone the...More

Well not only whales but also dolphins, seals and lots of birds! The tour lasted for approximately 4,5 hours and we enjoyed every minute! We were on a mission for humpback whales and not the fin back. At the end we saw both. The guides...More

We had the most extraordinary experience on our July 21, 2018 Puffin tour. Durlan and Peter provided a smooth ride to and from the island , pointing out fin whales, porpoises, shear waters and even a stop at seals! The weather was beautiful, but as...More

We were beyond disappointed that we had pre booked our tour a week ahead of our stay in Grand Manan through the website. I suppose our booking was not received, or they booked a large group instead of us (I don't know). I tried to...More

We did a Puffin tour to Machias Island. Due to the high swells, we were not able to land on the island, so Peter, the captain, brought groups of people on the skiff, to get a better view of the birds. It takes about 1hr....More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We read all of them, and take any suggestions to heart. We are wondering why we missed one star? Perhaps because we couldn't land on the island. We hope you enjoyed the tour regardless, and...More

A great tour with a friendly crew. We saw a lot of whales. The crew really knew where to go to see the whales up close. Well worth the money. We also saw a basking shark which was a bonus.
