Not unusual (maybe), but the lighthouse itself, which I realized only after I left that I did not go into (hmmm...), was dwarfed in grandeur by the setting, particularly the geological formations and the views! Certainly worth the visit if you are in the area!

The lighthouse itself was interesting to see but there was also a Puffin viewing site nearby that was equally interesting.

The lightkeepers home was built around the lighthouse which we found fascinating. The house had multiple fireplaces as well as a refrigerator built into the lighthouse. You have to see it to understand. The guide was knowledgeable about the families living there. $4. for seniors...More
