We went on our way back to town and it only took 30 minutes. It was interesting to learn the definition of a plantation and see how they lived( quite nicely actually).

Old merchant house in Bonavista. Interesting history and well guided. Interpreters around the property tell you of everything you need to know.

Very knowledgable staff at this once-grand home. Interesting to see the home as it was when it was lived in. Gorgeous stained-glass window in the library! Eerie feel throughout the home though...ghosts, perhaps?

This is actually Senator Bradley's former residence. The house and grounds are definitely worth exploring. Be sure to look out the stain glass door to the ocean

Be sure to visit. The tour guide is knowledgeable and makes the visit special. Bradley played a significant role in resettlement and bringing NL into Canada. The house has been nicely restored. The admit fee also lets you into the lighthouse.
