My wife and I walked the trail to the lighthouse and back. Very scenic and well looked after trail. As a bonus there was a grouse family running around near the lighthouse.

The lighthouse was interesting but just along the path there are spectacular examples of sedimentary rocks jutting out into the sea. don't miss them

The walk as far as the lighthouse is easy and pleasant with a nice view. We continued on to Brook Point which is worth seeing as the sedimentary rock formations there are very cool!! After that though we continued on the rest of the loop and the remainder of the trail is getting grown in and doesn't appear to be as well-utilized (there is also not a lot to see beyond Brook Point). I would consider going back the way you came once you reach Brook Point, even though it may take a little longer. Overall this hike is nice to do if you have the time (and is relatively easy) but I prefer some of the other hikes on the Bonavista Peninsula to this one. Some more signage on the trail would also be helpful.

We took the hike to the lighthouse and enjoyed the views. It was an easy walk and the scenery changes along the way from the ocean to a forest to a meadow. Nice way to spend an hour or so.

Not a very challenging hike so it's great and the lookout points are very nice. We saw whales nearby. Worth the hike!

The walk was easy. The scenery was breathtaking...forest...the lighthouse....a meadow, cliffs and ocean...all in one walk.

Simply WOW! Easy walk along the lighthouse trail in King’s Cove leads to the lighthouse. This was once a maned lighthouse but is now automated. Be sure to do the whole loop trail and take in Brook Point to see the most incredible example of sedimentary rock. Simply stunning coastal landscapes. Perfect place for a picnic. Whales and icebergs in season. Looped trail isn’t long but budget 2 hours just to enjoy it all.
