Filled with renditions of popular Newfoundland and Labrador songs and tunes, sprinkled with one-liners and wit and occasional display of culture, this group of five has become one of the most widely-attended acts in the whole province. Almost by accident, and practically overnight, the ANCHORS AWEIGH band has found its way onto the list of "things-to-do" for local residents and visitors alike.

A lively show full of music and humour by four excellent performers who enjoy what they do. Maybe a bit too loud for some, but the crowd really gets into it. Arrive early to get a good table.

It's all about the fantastic show these guys put on. Together for 21 years, many tours, CDs and solo work. There isn't a song they can't sing and can transcend any genre. Entertainment isn't just the music, but includes a sense of humour that will...More
