We arrived early to Trinity Bay and realized we had forgotten our snacks back at the hotel in Bonavista. Fortunately, there is a café in the house with the tour office so the lovely ladies there made us sandwiches and tea. I was a litlle worried about getting sea sick so I took some Gravol an hour before our tour... More

Declared no tour at 08:30 and told to move to 13:00 with no guarantee that the tour would run. That despite staying overnight in the owners B&B. Not good. Disappointing, and a long 1,200km round trip. Unhappy!!!

I read your review but I do not think that you have the whole story. I am Skipper Bob who does the tours and we have probably the most intimate whale watching experience in the world other than swimming with whales. Our pictures on Facebook and videos on Youtube are unsurpassed for a little privately owned company. We try to... More

Skipper Bob was a great host for this tour, looking for whales off Trinity. His pre departure talk helped outline the safety aspects and let us know what whales we may possibly see once out in the water. We were all outfitted with survival suits and soon were on our way. bob took the time to search for whales, which... More

We decided last minute to go when we woke up to better weather than expected. We are SOOOO glad we did. I had to pull the kids out of bed and not knowing what to expect, they complained (a lot). But upon seeing our first whale really close up, my 14year old said "I'm so glad you made us get... More

Do yourself a favour and go on this tour!!!!!!!!!!! This is a wonderful boat ride in Trinity, NL. It was overcast and we had already done 3 other boat rides in a two week span in NL so weren't quite sure if we wanted to take the time and money to try another. The others had been largely unsuccessful in... More

We had a great tour this week. At the begging the weather was terrible - but eco-tour have warm water proof suits that absolutely saved the situation. I did this ride together with my seven year old. We see about 15 different whales and many bald eagles. Operators knows the whales and birds locations, very experience and can teach about... More

Took the 4 hour Go and Tow kayak adventure. Was awesome. While waiting for the tow to start we had tea in the dining room...someone was playing music in the corner...so peaceful. The scenery on the tour was beautiful...got really close to some hunpback whales. Gerard was our guide...he made the trip so much fun.

August 14th Some days you see them some you don't. This day I felt like we were in a dream! The whales were everywhere! It certainly was worth the drive from St. John's and would do if again in a heart beat. All suited up in a full floatation suit I thought we would get hot but it was comfortable... More

This was my first whale-watching tour in the 41 years that I have been visiting inlaws in Newfoundland. I had heard nothing but rave reviews about Bob Bartlett's Eco-Tours since it started six years ago. Yesterday, it all came together. We were surrounded by humpbacks breaching, rolling, blowing, slapping flukes and putting on a real show. Bob is fully engaged... More
