    I laughed. I cried.
I laughed. I cried. A TIDY PACKAGE is the story of two sisters trying to move on after the cod moratorium. The depth of storytelling through the lens of the sister’s very different paths is remarkable. The actors made me feel like I was in the room with a real family. The play finished and I was left crying uncontrollably knowing it depicts the drama and loss and uncertainty that so many family’s went through. It made me think of my own parents immigrating and how much they had to give up to leave. Worth visiting Trinity just for this show.

    Great Show
Attended the “Maiden Voyage”. A very good production. All actors were suited to their roles, and gave enthusiastic performances. The front staff were very friendly. The theatre is in an old renovated building on the water. Go early and enjoy some good food and tour around the town of Trinity.

For local theatre this is great
If you are in the Trinity area you must spend one evening at the Rising Tide Theatre. Their plays and concerts change ever couple of days so inquire as to if there is a play or music concert with stories. All options are amazing. The performers are very talented and stories riveting. The food is basic and quite acceptable. We can't say amazing but what you might expect from a local dinner theatre. But, you don't go for the food. Same for the wine, there is only Jackson Triggs white or red .. both are far from the best options for Canadian wines. A bit larger selection would be a large improvement.

The Trinity Pageant is an entertaining way to learn about the experiences of the early settlers to Newfoundland. A live theatre performance that takes place at various outdoor locations throughout the town of Trinity told from the perspectives of the historical characters.

If you are in Trinity, I would highly recommend you take in a performance at the Rising Tide Theatre Company. My friends and I attended a performance of No Man’s Land based on a true WW 1 story about the Newfoundland Regiment. This talented cast brought this tragic piece of history to life. From the staging, dialogue and singing, it was an evening to remember. I just wish we had time to take in more performances if the many offerings of this polished cast and crew.

Seeing a show is a must-do while in Trinity! We learned a lot about the history of Newfoundland, and the actors were talented. We did visit during a heat wave and the theatre got very warm, but besides that it was a great experience.

Trinity is a very nice town to visit before the play. The play was a lot of fun. The play was a comedy and the actors were quite talented and did a fantastic job.
