Take a picnic go for a swim or walk on the shore to collect items from the beach. Lyons club offers a free shuttle back and forth.

We could not visit the island but took some great pictures. Its a tiny but very cute lighthouse. Pier walk on the Baddeck side is very good.

We did not have time to visit the Kidston Island Lighthouse but we took some great photos of it from a distance. We will certainly stop and visit it on our next trip, which will be in the fall of 2017.

I am sorry but I do not know the hours of operation for the ferry and I could not find anything on the internet, either. But FYI, there is the "Amoeba Sailing Tours" if you are interested in that, where children under 8... More

I am not sure if pets are allowed on the ferry. I tried looking on the internet but cannot find anything regarding the ferry, it's schedule nor its services. But I would think that pets would not be a problem.
